Bellingham plans September 28 introduction of proposed 2027 budget

Bellingham’s proposed 2027 budget is scheduled to be introduced to the City Council on Monday, September 28, according to the city’s September 24 newsletter.

The city says council work sessions and public hearings will follow, with final adoption planned for December. The proposal has not yet been adopted.

The city’s Budget page includes an overview, a schedule and a video explaining how the budget is developed and why some funds cannot simply be moved between services.
