Staff from Western Washington University's University Communications and Marketing (UCM) office recently took home five regional awards and one national award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
Western competes in CASE District 8, which encompasses all higher education institutions, regardless of size, in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and all of Western Canada including Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Saskatchewan. Winners from the regional awards are automatically sent for consideration in the CASE national awards program as well.
