Theo Newcomb, a Western Washington University student and former member of Western’s men’s rowing team, started falling in love with cycling while recovering from a rowing injury.
As he became closer to the cyclists around him, some of whom had been cycling their whole lives, his recovery regimen turned into a new community. Now he wants to share this community with more Western students.
“I just really enjoy what cycling brings to people’s lives and my life in particular: being able to be outside and enjoy moving at a different pace,” Newcomb said.
