The official Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Test for the November 3, 2026 General and Special Election will be held on October 5, 2026 at 10:00 am. The test is conducted by Whatcom County Auditor’s Office election staff.
The L&A Test occurs before the election to ensure the voting system will correctly count the votes cast for all candidates and all measures appearing on the ballot. During the test, election staff will scan a stack of ballots with a known outcome to make sure the voting system reports the same expected results.
