Adult volunteers needed for emergency response exercise
Every three years, the Federal Aviation Administration requires our airport to perform an emergency exercise to ensure adequate safety measures. This generally involves simulation of a major problem associated with an airplane, triaging passengers for simulated injury, transporting some to the hospital and reuniting some passengers with friends and family members.

The Volunteer Mobilization Center folks are looking for 50 adults to represent passengers and their friends and family members at the 2026 Airport Exercise. Volunteering will provide some unique experiences and the knowledge you have made our hometown airport safer.
